Kalamazoo, MI November 27, 2017 – The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra is proud to present this year’s Sounds of the Season concert, Music from The Movies with Sara Andon, including music from your favorite holiday movies: The Polar Express, Frozen, Elf, It’s A Wonderful Life and many more. With KSO Resident Conductor/Interim Music Director, Daniel Brier, at the podium the concert will feature international flute soloist and recording artist, Sara Andon, along with the Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus, directed by Fred Sang.

Kalamazoo, MI November 17, 2016 - The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra is proud to present the second concert in its 2016-17 Special Event Series, Sounds of the Season - Christmas with Angel Blue featuring laureate of Plácido Domingo's international Operalia competition, Angel Blue.

Joining the orchestra and Ms. Blue, the Kalamazoo Children's Chorus, directed by Fred Sang, will delight audiences with their pure sound and excellent musicianship. The program, to be announced from stage, will include many of your holiday favorites - even Santa Claus will make an appearance.

Kalamazoo, MI November 25, 2015 - The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra presents Sounds of the Season - Christmas with Jackie Evancho. Ms. Evancho will join the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra to share the ethereal sound that so many heard for the first time when she was just ten years old. Now fifteen, Ms. Evancho has been delighting audiences around the world. Her strong fan base will be thrilled to hear her alongside the KSO and Kalamazoo Children’s Chorus for a program featuring holiday favorites and pieces from her most recent recordings.
