Musician Classroom Visits

Registration: Ongoing

A KSO Musician will visit your music classroom to talk with students, demonstrate his or her instrument, and reinforce your teaching goals.

Grade Levels: All grades

Scheduling: Up to three 30-minute or two 45-minute sessions

Fee: $65 (KSO will match your fee to cover $130 cost)

Eligibility: Schools must be within a 25 mile radius of Kalamazoo. Schools outside this radius please contact KSO Education Manager, Rufus Ferguson or call (269)349-7759 ext. 210

The school agrees to provide:

• A teacher to facilitate the program, introduce musician and manage classroom (must be present for the entirety of the program).
• Phone/email discussion two weeks in advance to help the musician plan a presentation that meets your teaching objectives.
