The Sounds of Kalamazoo concert is cancelled for this season due to COVID-19 concerns, and we will contact audience members this week about donating, exchanging, or returning their tickets. We hope to bring together the outstanding guest bands for a future collaboration!

We want to do everything we can to answer your questions about tickets. Please consider the following options for your Sounds of Kalamazoo concert tickets:

  • Donate your tickets to support the KSO musicians during this extraordinary time and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value.
  • Request an exchange credit for a future performance through our next season without an exchange fee.
  • Receive a refund for the value of the ticket.

For help with your tickets, please email us at, or call our office at 269-349-7759. We will respond as quickly as possible. We expect a larger-than-normal call volume and will respond to your messages in the order received.

Our most current updates about our COVID-19 actions are available at our coronavirus information page.

Celebrate Kalamazoo’s rich musical talent as your KSO welcomes world-class local favorite artists to the stage.

The Red Sea Pedestrians and Nashon Holloway will join the orchestra for an exuberant start to summer.

Dacia Bridges

Kalamazoo and the international music community lost a vibrant voice with the unexpected passing of Dacia Bridges in August 2019. The edgy, alternative folk-pop singer was an international megastar, reaching the very top of the German pop charts. In 2017, she returned to her Michigan roots and relaunched her musical career as the leader of the Dacia Bridges Project. She was preparing to appear in collaboration with the KSO at this concert.

To honor her music and remember her talent and spirit, a selection of Dacia’s music will be performed during the concert.
