Community Concert Series Continues with FREE Chamber Music Event

Community Concert Series continues with a FREE Chamber Music event on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at First Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m. The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra Artists in Residence are back for some warm, fabulous chamber music.

No registration is required to attend, but this concert is subject to KSO's Health & Safety policy, and proof of vaccination will be required to attend for those 12 and older.

Repertoire:

The program, highlighted by Brahms’ luscious, joyous Clarinet Quintet in B minor also features a thrilling work by the exciting composer Kati Agócs. The KSO is excited to feature Kip Hickman on the early classical concerto by Albrechtsberger. Famously, Beethoven studied with Albrechtsberger; this is one of the only stand-alone trombone concertos from the classical era, in this rare opportunity to hear the alto trombone up close.
