Community Concert Series Relaunches with FREE Chamber Music Event

The KSO is excited to announce the return of the Community Concert Series this Tuesday, November 9 with a FREE chamber music event at the Kalamazoo First Presbyterian Church. No registration is required to attend, but this concert is subject to KSO's Health & Safety policy, and proof of vaccination will be required to attend for those 12 and older.

Repertoire:

The first program will be a buoyant program of well-known favorites from Haydn, Mozart and Price:

  1. Haydn – String Quartet “The Joke” in Eb Major, Op. 33, No. 2
  2. Mozart – Oboe Quartet in F Major, K. 370
  3. Price – String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor

Featuring KSO Artists in Residence:

  • Gabe Renteria-Elyea, oboe
  • Julia Neckermann, violin
  • Lisa Williams, violin
  • Nicholas Jeffery, viola
  • Igor Cetkovic, cello

Details:

The concert will last approximately 75 minutes, and we will have an intermission. This concert begins at 7:00 p.m.

COVID-19 Safety: This event requires proof of vaccination to attend for those 12 or older. This means you can bring your vaccination card and ID, a photo/copy of your card, or utilize the Bindle app. Masks must be worn by all patrons, regardless of age.
