Dacia Bridges

REMEMBERING DACIA BRIDGES

Kalamazoo and the international music community lost a vibrant voice with the unexpected passing of Dacia Bridges in August 2019. The edgy, alternative folk-pop singer was an international megastar, reaching the very top of the German pop charts. In 2017, she returned to her Michigan roots and relaunched her musical career as the leader of the Dacia Bridges Project. She was preparing to appear in collaboration with the KSO at this concert.

To honor her music and remember her talent and spirit, a selection of Dacia’s music will be performed during the concert.
