KSO and El Sistema

El Sistema is an innovative and hope-instilling music education program, distinguished by its excellence and for having a positive impact on the communities where it is implemented. It uses symphony orchestras and choruses to help children and young people achieve their full potential and acquire values that favor their growth and have a positive impact on their lives in society.

The KSO is working with two partners, the Kalamazoo Public Schools and Communities in Schools of Kalamazoo, to pilot an after-school program based on this approach - Kalamazoo Kids In Tune.
