Shakespeare's searing tale is taken to operatic proportions in this production of Verdi's towering tragedy. Driven by jealousy the cunning lago will stop at nothing less that Otello's destruction. Aiming straight for Otello's heart, lago plants the poisonous seeds that will ultimately lead to Otello's complete mental and physical obliteration.

This opera will be performed semi-staged.
