Music Classes

KSO Conductor Raymond Harvey gives a prelude talk

Dinner lectures, short courses, and other opportunities to explore great orchestral music are offered periodically.

Preludes

Maestro Raymond Harvey (or the concert's conductor) offers fascinating insights and introduces key themes of the evening's repertoire at these popular Symphonic Series pre-concert talks. Arrive one hour prior to the concert and sit wherever you like!

Community Performances

KSO musicians bring music to those who cannot attend regular KSO concerts. Musicians travel to retirement homes, senior centers, correctional facilities, and community venues to perform engaging recitals.

Join us and continue your musical education! New to the KSO? Learn what to expect at a performance.

Support the KSO

Ticket sales cover less than half of the KSO's expenses. Grants, corporate sponsorships, and your donations play a key role in ensuring the high quality of our concerts and education programs.

Volunteers from the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League support our Instrument Petting Zoo, fund raising events, and much more. Consider how you can support your KSO.
