Music In Our Schools Month
During March 2012, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra observes Music In Our Schools Month. The purpose of this effort is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children. This year, we also are spotlighting and honoring the great work of music teachers throughout Southwest Michigan.
The KSO embraces an integrated model of artistic, educational, and community engagement. All of our events and activities involved a mix of all three components. In this way we offer compelling musical experiences for people of all ages throughout our service area.
