KSOL Symphony of Homes Tour - Gull Lake 2008

The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League is excited to present our SYMPHONY OF HOMES TOUR - Gull Lake 2008 featuring four unique and historic summer homes on Gull Lake Island!

The Gull Lake Island homes will be open to touring by the public on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 11a.m. - 5 p.m.; Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and on Sunday, May 18, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Gull Lake Marine will provide pontoon boats to transport our tour guests from shore to Gull Lake Island and return. The last boat will leave the shore at 4 p.m. daily.

We have arranged for several special events over the weekend for our tour ticket holders. The Kellogg Manor House will be serving a luncheon buffet for $15 on Friday, May 16. Reservations are required by 4:30 pm, May 12th and may be made by calling the Kellogg Manor House, (269) 671-2400, for the 11 a.m. or noon seating. On Saturday, May 17, the Gilmore Car Museum will offer our tour guests reduced museum ticket prices and welcome them to their George and Sally’s Blue Moon Diner from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. No reservations are needed. On Sunday, May 18, the Gull Lake Country Club will be serving a luncheon buffet for $15 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required by May 15, and may be made by calling the country club at

Tickets for the tour are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Tour tickets will go on sale in early April at the following ticket outlets: Chaubrei Gardens, Mann’s Landscape Gardens and Richland Village Sundries in Richland; Don’s Card Hut Cork Lane Shopping Center, Oakwood Plaza Pharmacy, Wild Goose Chase and the KSO office in Kalamazoo; Don’s Card Hut Crossroads Mall, Don's Card Hut Southland and Stein Mart in Portage.
Proceeds from the tour will benefit the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra.

A Prelude Party to celebrate this fabulous tour will be held on Thursday, May 15 at a water-front home on Gull Lake, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Reservations for the Prelude Party are $50 per person.
