Preludes: One hour before the start of Symphonic Series concerts, join Maestro Harvey as he gives a sneak preview of the evening’s themes from the piano. Sit wherever you like in the hall and gain an insider view on the performance that makes the concert itself even more fun and interesting. Concluding at about 7:30, you will have plenty of time to enjoy a drink in the lobby, hear the Student Performer Showcase, and find your seats again before the show.
WMUK: Cara Lieurance sits down with Maestro Harvey, guest artists, and visiting conductors on Thursday mornings ahead of most KSO concerts. Tune in Thursdays to WMUK 102.1 at 10am to hear the stories behind the music. (Rebroadcasts can be heard at 8pm.)

KSO musicians are available to travel to those who cannot come to the concert hall, such as senior centers, memory care units, correctional facilities, and more. Program and Activity Directors are encouraged to Contact us to learn about scheduling a KSO event in a private venue.
