KSO 2009
SUMMER PARK CONCERTS
Since 1973, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra has toured area parks providing donation supported concerts. As the sun sets and the evening cools, the KSO presents light classical and popular music, perfect for a picnic or a relaxing evening with friends.

Why are there fewer Summer Park Concerts this year?
As you are aware, the economy has hit us all in a variety of ways. While the KSO assumes a portion of the cost of the Summer Park Concerts, each community must raise money via sponsors, grants, and other donations. Some of these funds simply are not available this year, so we are not able to appear in the Gull Lake area, Plainwell, or Three Rivers. It is our hope to return in 2010.
